I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this experience! I had never been to Scotland before and when we arrived we came straight to the Dundonald Guesthouse. It is the perfect representation of Scotland and what I had dreamt of in my mind. What I didn’t expect was to wake up each morning to the most incredible breakfast I’ve ever eaten in my entire life! So much attention to detail so many incredibly delicious flavors! I requested gluten and lactose free and she was so accommodating and everything was truly so delicious. Thank you, Laura, and Adele for all you do to make it such a wonderful experience! Thank you, Chris and Shannon for finding this little gem!

My sister and I have been traveling all over Scotland for 3 weeks, seeing the areas that our grandparents and family have lived at. This is the best place we have stayed at. The attention to detail, trying to make our stay so wonderful. The bed and furnishings were so nice, I loved the wonderful soaps and lotions, everything we could possibly need. In the room, even the white robed. The view of the bay and the quaint, quiet little cobblestone village was very sweet in our room, the breakfast was truly amazing also, I would highly recommend anyone coming to stay here , my only regret was we were booked for just one night. Truly an exceptional visit with them, thank you Laura!

Laura runs a top notch operation. The property is immaculate. Incredible attention to detail. Everything you need for a perfect stay, by far our best accommadation during a week in Scotland. Oh... book a dinner at The Red Lion Inn just a few steps from her door and try the meat pies. You'll have some wonderful memories.

This place is truly stunning. The views from the room at the first light of morning are simply breathtaking. The property itself is beautifully designed, with incredible attention to detail and a palpable sense of care and love. Without a doubt, the highlight of our trip was the warm welcome we received from Laura, her thoughtful touches in every corner, and her exceptional hospitality. We will be dreaming of that breakfast for a long time – it was absolutely unforgettable. This place is a true hidden gem, and we can’t wait to return and experience its charming café once it opens. Thank you for such a memorable stay! Clara & Harry

The Dundonald is a hidden gem in Culross ..beautifully decorated under Laura's very stylish eye and attention to detail is second to none ..this was our second visit and the Dundonald was gently easing into Christmas .Great G&T and chat from Paul in the lounge.Breakfast is served with candlelight and soft jazz the perfect way to start the day and Marissa was very attentive taking orders with nothing too much bother. The Mercat cafe further up the road is also owned by Laura and again very stylish . When you have parked up at one of the appointed parking spots for Dundonald guests and wandered up the road there are lovely fresh lunch options, beautiful cakes and its licensed too .There is a very tasteful gift shop at the back which you will not leave empty handed ! Cannot wait to go back thanks again for taking such good care of us x

I had the most lovely time here! I only stayed one night but I could have easily stayed for a whole week. The view of the Firth was amazing; the room was quiet, large, and well equipped with tea coffee etc as well as fresh flowers; and the best part were the hosts who were extremely kind. Breakfast was absolutely spectacular! I would 100% stay here again.

We only spent one night at The Dundonald, but we wished we could have stayed longer. Laura is a fantastic host, and together with Adele, they make you feel at home with personalized and courteous service. The guesthouse is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and full of character. The rooms are cozy, equipped with every comfort and offer stunning views. Breakfast is delicious. In the evening, you can order a platter of Scottish meats and cheeses with a selection of natural wines and cocktails. If you’re in Edinburgh and/or heading to northern Scotland, we absolutely recommend The Dundonald—you won’t regret it.

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Culross. The house is stunning, the wine selection impeccable, and the hosts truly deliver on the B&B experience - just simple, warm, welcoming vibes, with incredibly comfortable amenities. Literally couldn't ask for more in this perfectly quaint Scottish setting. We're already looking for an excuse to come back!
